Brand Executive Producer
Laura brings over 28 years’ experience to her role at APR in a career that spans Agency, Commercials and Broadcast media production. After a degree in Social Anthropology and a brief stint in documentary/current affairs, she moved to commercials production, working at award-winning companies including RSA, Weilands, Partizan, Rose Hackney Barber and Pink. In 2003 she was approached to join BBC Broadcast (later Red Bee Media). There as Head of Production she oversaw an innovative Department making the promos and trailers for all BBC TV and Radio programmes, online services as well as the production of Channel idents and rebrands for the BBC and other European Broadcasters. In this flexible and disruptive model, the team produced ideas generated by both Red Bee creatives and other BBC roster advertising agencies and depending on the scale, sourced freelance Directors from the commercials community, broadcast programming, and documentaries as well as the Red Bee internal team. While at Red Bee she also won and produced commercials with Advertising agencies for brands and charities such as Birds Eye, Freeview, Woolworths, RBS, Dogs Trust, PDSA and YMCA utilizing the same budget stretching principles. More recently she has been working agency side at GTB and Ogilvy & Mather (London) producing TV & online commercials for Ford, Castrol and a raft of Unilever Brands.
